If you have new information about your practice, you can train the AI receptionist's specific knowledge so it gives accurate responses about your practice.
2. Open Practice Information
Locate the Practice Information section. This is where the AI pulls its core understanding of your office.
3. Add or Update Information
Enter the new information as clearly and descriptively as possible. The more context you provide, the more accurate and natural the AI’s responses will be.

- “We require 24 hours notice for cancellations. Late cancellations may incur a fee.”
- “We are now in-network with Aetna PPO. ”
✕Avoid Vague Entries
- “Cancellation policy applies”

How long does it take for updates to apply?
Our server redeploys 3 times a day, so your updates apply shortly after saving.
What if I want to update existing information?
You can update existing behavior by editing the Guidelines section in the AI Receptionist settings. The Knowledge Base is best used when you are adding brand-new information the AI has not learned yet.
Can I correct the AI if it answered something incorrectly?
Yes. Go to the Guidelines tab in the AI Receptionist settings and scroll to Training Examples. Add clear examples of the correct response so the AI learns how to handle similar situations in the future.
