Inserting Letterhead Images/Header/Footer
Professional, clearly formatted documents improve patient trust and can help increase treatment acceptance. If your practice already has an official letterhead, you can upload it here and it will automatically be attached when exporting notes (PDF or DOCX).

1. Open Template Settings
- Navigate to Scribe > Templates.
- Create a new template or click the Edit icon on an existing template.
- Scroll to the Formatting Options section.
2. Upload Letterhead Images
File Requirements
- Use PNG format (recommended) or JPEG
- Upload header and footer as separate image files
- Each file should contain only the header OR only the footer
Header Image
This image appears at the very top of your generated PDF/Docx files.
- Click Upload Header.
- Select your image file (PNG or JPEG recommended).
- Recommended width: 2480px (for full-width A4/Letter quality).
Footer Image
This image appears at the bottom of every page.
- Click Upload Footer.
- Select your image file.
- Ensure it contains your contact info, address, or legal disclaimers if required.
3. Adjust Formatting
Ensure your content doesn't overlap with your headers and footers.
Tip: Generate a test note with this template to verify the alignment of your letterhead before using it for patients.
